While Port Morris' success is a result of the collaborative efforts of everyone in our company, it is our experienced management team that keeps us at the forefront of our industry.
Vincent P. DeLazzero, Chief Executive Officer
Vincent DeLazzero represents the fourth generation of leadership at Port Morris. He joined the company in 1969, became Vice President in 1974, and had held the title of President since 1989 until being named CEO in 2004. His responsibilities include the management of divisions of the corporation, overseeing the estimating department, as well as serving as its chief sales representative and spokesman.
In addition to his years of industry experience, Mr. DeLazzero has served as President of the Greater New York and New Jersey Tile Contractors' Association (GNY/NJTCA), Trustee of The International Masonry Institute (IMI), Trustee of the Bricklayer and Allied Craftworkers pension fund, and former President of the Tile Contractors' Association of America (TCAA). He is also a Vice President of the Muscular Dystrophy Association, and has received many industry and charitable awards.

Patrick Barrett, President
Patrick Barrett joined Port Morris in 1992 as Executive Vice President, becoming president in 2004.
Mr. Barrett began his career in the construction industry at the age of fourteen, learning all aspects of the trade with John T. Brady & Company. Later, as Vice President of E.W. Howell's New York Office, he successfully completed the landmark restorations of Polo Ralph Lauren's flagship building, the Plaza Athenee Hotel, and the Ironworkers Union Headquarters.
In addition to his responsibilities at Port Morris, Mr. Barrett serves on the Board of Governors for the Building Trades Employees' Association, President of the Contractors Stone Setters Association Benefit Funds, Trustee for Locals 197, Local 84, and Local 7, and he is the current President Elect of the Tile Contractors' Association of America (TCAA). Mr. Barrett is also a member of the Executive Board for the Subcontractor Trade Association.

Frank T. Juranich, Chief Financial Officer
Frank T. Juranich is responsible for all the financial and accounting operations at Port Morris Tile & Marble Corp., including the New York and Boston Offices. Mr. Juranich is also our liaison responsible for obtaining the company's insurance, bonding and safety programs.
Mr. Juranich obtained his BBA in Accounting and an MBA in Finance at Baruch College. He has over 25 years experience in the construction and real-estate industries and has lectured on various accounting issues.

Gerald DeLazzero, Board Member Emeritus
Gerald DeLazzero has been with Port Morris since 1961 and formerly served as the head of the terrazzo department. He was the President of the New York Metropolitan Marble Terrazzo Contractors' Association, and had been a Trustee of the Terrazzo and Mosaic Welfare and Pension Fund for over 30 years.
Mr. DeLazzero was also a member of the General Society of Mechanics and Tradesmen (an organization that was established in 1786), and a Trustee Chairman of the Port Morris Profit Sharing Fund.

Joseph DeVito, Senior Vice President
Joseph DeVito has been in the marble industry since 1962. He attended the Mechanics Institute for Architectural Drafting, and has extensive industry experience both in marble shops and in the field; Mr. DeVito has served as a superintendent, estimator, and project manager.
He joined the Port Morris team in 1993 and became Vice President in 1998.

Aurelio Elias, Vice President of Production
Mr. Elias obtained his Bachelor of Science in Architectural Technology from New York Institute of Technology in 1992. Aurelio M. Elias joined Port Morris in 1993. Through his dedication and his years of loyalty to Port Morris he was elevated in 2006 to Vice President of Production. He has successfully managed many projects of varying size on public and private work, such as Penn Station, 15 Central Park West and several Riverside buildings, also several well known hotels such as Hilton New York, Inter-Continental & Grand Hyatt New York.
Mr. Elias also heads up the drafting and fabrication departments of Port Morris, and serves as liaison between these departments and our Project Managers and Superintendents.

Anthony Vespa, Vice President, Exterior Stone Division
Anthony Vespa began his career as a stone setter for Local Union 84 in 1987. In 1998, he came to work for Port Morris as an on-site field foreman gaining experience in supervising large crews, laying out complicated designs and coordinating numerous trades around stone work. During this time he enhanced his skills and product knowledge in exterior stone. In 2000, he became Superintendent, specializing in exterior stone where he honed his skills and learned the intricate details of Project Management and Estimating. With dedication and perseverance, Anthony took on the responsibility of Project Manager and Estimator, while still a Field Superintendent, for this division. In 2005, his loyalty to Port Morris gained him the title of Vice President.

William Zonca Jr., Vice President, Terrazzo Division
William Zonca grew up in the Terrazzo business, where working for his father he earned his first apprenticeship at the age of 15. As a member of Union Local 7 - NY, NJ - Bill is well-known as a master mechanic in the field, having worked his way up from helper to foreman on such prestigious projects such as Bear Stearns (NY) and the Pokemon Flagship Store at Rockefeller Center (NY). He joined Port Morris as a field foreman/mechanic under his uncle in 1997 and quickly gained the respect of his workers and management. His knowledge and experience in the terrazzo industry allowed him to achieve the position of Vice President in 2004. Bill's responsibilities as Vice President include estimating and project managing all of Port Morris' terrazzo projects. He specializes in design layout, value engineering and technical pre-bid consultation, leading to proper scheduling of complex projects.
Mr. Zonca is a member of the National Terrazzo and Mosaic Association, and The Technical Committee, and he is also a Trustee of the Local 7 Tile & Terrazzo Mosaic of New York and New Jersey.

Mark Liljegren, Vice President
Port Morris Tile & Marble Corporation, Boston
Mark Liljegren has been with Port Morris since 1999, after 17 years with Bloom South & Gurney Flooring and the Congress Flooring Corporation.
Mr. Liljegren is a member of the GNY/NJTCA, IMI, and the TCAA.

Thomas McCarthy, Vice President
Port Morris Tile & Marble Corporation, Boston
Thomas McCarthy has been with Port Morris since 1999, after 17 years with the Boston Union Tile/Stone/Flooring Industry. He attended the University of Massachusetts and the Wentworth Institute of Technology.
Mr. McCarthy is a member of the GNY/NJTCA, IMI, and the TCAA.

Franco Mariani, Vice President
Port Morris Tile & Marble Corporation, Italy
Franco Mariani is very proud to be a member of one of the most historical and traditional stone families in Italy. As a young boy, he learned the business from his grandfather and father, working for them, on school breaks, in the quarries and family factory. Franco came to the United States in the 1980's where he studied geology and refined his English. The Mariani family was a supplier for Port Morris since the 1960's, so it was a natural fit when Franco became part of our team in 1995. He oversees Port Morris of Italy and controls the quality and schedule of our imported stone. Franco is a renowned expert of all aspects of the stone industry and we are fortunate to have him.
